My personal experience allows me to connect and empathize with many different paths in life. I’ve been a defiant and lost teenager, a married young adult, and a parent. I’ve searched for authenticity in middle adulthood, have felt the disconnect and fear of losing connection with people I love, and continue my personal growth work daily. As I like to say, “I’ve lived a few lives.”
My professional experience includes working with individuals of all ages, gender, sexuality, religion/spirituality, and race. I have worked with individuals in crisis, families who have nowhere else to turn, and in group settings.
The Ideal SettingI offer in-office, online, and outdoor therapy. Each have their benefit and during our work together we may utilize all three. We will work together to identify the ideal setting as we walk through therapy together.
The Ideal Therapy Modality
I believe that you have the answers and we will interpret them together through the modality that best fits you. I have training in; talk therapy, walking therapy, nature therapy, somatic, acceptance and commitment (ACT), mindfulness, brainspotting, strengths based, experiential, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectic behavioral (DBT), and religious spiritual competency in mental health.
